About Raw Elements

We started this company out of a pure love for cinema and more specifically, for the lenses that shaped it.

There’s something about old glass that modern lenses just can’t replicate. The way they flare, the way they fall off, the little imperfections that somehow make an image feel more human. We’ve spent years tracking down rare optics from all over the world. Soviet-era 70mm lenses, obscure prototypes, forgotten gems and bringing them back to life, one lens at a time.

We offer custom rehousing on select lenses, have curated sets available for sale, and also rent out these rare tools for filmmakers looking to bring something unique to their image.

This isn’t a mass-production thing. We’re not trying to crank out hundreds of copies or compete with anyone. Think of us more like a boutique, we do very limited runs, carefully built and tuned for filmmakers who care about history, texture, and character. Each lens we release is more like a collectible than a product, something that tells a story, both on and off screen.

We’re here for the people who love this stuff as much as we do. People who believe that the tools you use can be just as meaningful as the stories you’re telling.
